This piece was inspired by Rambo, a video from Four Speed Films on a wicked 1970 LT-1 Stingray that we have actually featured a couple of times. The video has some jazzy overtones as it introduces us to various muscle-car porn, but it doesn’t take long to reveal the raucous Rambo. How the owner Garrett Randell got into muscle cars hits home for many of us, as it was lusting after his dad’s classic Pantera as a young kid that lit the fire within.
Watching the video got me thinking, how often do we enthusiasts see wild and custom Corvettes, or cool muscle cars for that matter, out in the wild? As the older Vette nuts get past their prime, and the younger generations just don’t seem interested, has this era run its course?
So I’ll share the Rambo video one more time in case you missed it, and please engage us on our Facebook page to let us know what you think about wild Corvettes like Rambo, or even better share some wild ones of your own. I would love to hear from you, comments are also available if you scroll down. Douglas B.
