At first glance, this crazy Tron-inspired Corvette almost looks like it’s AI-generated, but it’s certainly real, and recently a friend of the owner tried to show off his buddy’s ‘Vette on a popular Facebook page. The comments got so bad and polarizing that an admin had to turn off commenting, but more on that in a moment.
First, the Corvette in question.
For the uninitiated, Tron is an early 80’s movie where a hacker and arcade owner is “digitally broken down into a data stream by a villainous software pirate known as Master Control and reconstituted into the internal, 3-D graphical world of computers.” It’s a little ironic that a Corvette themed around a movie about computers has many banging away in protest on their computers.
