We Now Know the When and the Where of the Mid-Engine Corvette
We’ve known about the mid-engine Corvette’s big reveal date for a couple weeks now. When Corvette Chief Engineer Tadge Juechter and General Motors CEO Mary Barra drove the mid-engine Corvette prototype thru New York City, the “07.18.19” became the immediate buzz across the Corvette community. Of course, just mere seconds after the announcement of WHEN the mid-Corvette would formally be unveiled, the question transitioned to WHERE it would be unveiled.
We now know the WHERE.
The big event will take place in Southern California. Our friends at MidEngineCorvetteForum.com first announced the location of the reveal earlier today, and it has since been confirmed by Chevrolet. While we don’t know anything more specific about the location of the big reveal yet, it does appear that the offical unveil will be by invite only. With the amount of buzz among the Corvette community, you can bet this will be a record-breaking event in the history of the brand…and with any luck, we’ll be there to cover it.
