Watch These C3 Corvettes Get Washed For The First Time In 40+ Years

Join the nearly 10 million enthusiasts who took the satisfying journey of watching these relics get washed!

First wash in 45 years!

If your car is dirty, it just feels good to clean it. Some consider it therapy, a satisfying chore. And with the nearly 10 million views these three detailing videos have received, it’s very apparent we are not alone. In early April of this year, these three collectible third-generation Corvettes found their way onto Facebook Marketplace. But this trio wasn’t your ordinary collection. They were stored away in barn-like conditions since new and never touched. Nothing… just left there to rot away essentially.

This is a personal subject for many, myself included. Us enthusiasts who are, dare I say, offended by nice Corvettes that are dirty and neglected. Logic tells us we shouldn’t take it personally; after all, it’s not our Corvette. These three touched me so much that my original feature was titled “Seller Shows The World How Not To Store Collectible Corvettes,” and I did something I rarely do: I shamed the owner (somewhat tongue in cheek, but shaming nonetheless).

Thankfully, in this case, YouTube’s WD Detailing came to the rescue! For four years, these guys have been building their channel by providing free details on filthy vehicles for clicks, and they are now over 1,000,000 subscribers.

Before we get to the washing therapy, here’s the original trio of C3s with the seller’s listing. Then we’ll showcase each video, with an after shot if you’re too busy to watch the video. Lastly, I’ve provided the photo gallery from the seller’s original listing so that you can see how bad they were.

A trio of tired C3s

In the original Facebook listing, the seller, Nino, was asking $150,000 for the trio.
