Emelia Harford has made some wild modifications to her Chevrolet Corvette Z06, which fans have nicknamed “Nemo” due to its orange and white paint job. In her latest venture, she has gone all out and installed a nitrous kit in the car. Harford’s goal is to beat the current Corvette world record of 9.98 seconds.
Emelia took her Nemo to the Famoso Bakersfield Raceway in McFarland, California for some testing and tuning. Not only is this Corvette Z06 fast, but it may also be the first one equipped with nitrous.
She started with a few runs to make sure there were no errors or check engine lights. Then, on the next run, she used nitrous, and Nemo clocked in at 9.98 seconds with a top speed of 141 mph. Although still a few tenths of a second behind the world record, with some further tuning, the nitrous-equipped Corvette Z06 might be able to break it.
