Chevrolet made waves by introducing the mid-engine design in the C8 Corvette, marking a departure from its predecessors. Now, the spotlight is on the E-Ray, positioned between the Stingray and the Z06, bringing significant changes to the lineup.
With a front-wheel electric motor complementing a robust 6.2L LT2 V8 engine, the E-Ray boasts an impressive 655 horsepower, seamlessly directed to the rear wheels. Featuring a built-in launch-control function, the 2024 Corvette E-Ray sprints from zero to 60 miles per hour in just 2.5 seconds, edging out the record-setting C8 Z06 by just 0.1 seconds.
Mecum Auctions is scheduled to auction two Corvette E-Rays this weekend, both of which are offered with delivery mileage.
