Typically, we enthusiasts become hyper-focused on the most expensive models and sales transactions, and it’s hard not to focus on the remarkable numbers our beloved Corvette is bringing around the various auctions and sales platforms. In a time where nearly everything seems to be getting more expensive, and new Corvette variants are approaching $200,000 (see our 2025 ZR1 pricing piece here), who doesn’t like a deal?!? Just how impressive is Bring a Trailer in the auction circles? Well, in November of 2024, they sold a remarkable 81% of their 3,723 vehicle listings, which included 1,615 that were offered without reserve. Speaking of no-reserve, it should be no surprise that ALL of our Corvettes today had no reserve, and I’d speculate that some of these sellers wished they had put a floor on the winning bid. And that is one of the main complaints I’ve heard about BaT–that they tend to pressure sellers to list at no-reserve (or a lower reserve than desired). It’s also probably no surprise that one generation has dominated our list of value Corvettes.
