On October 10 to 13, collectors and enthusiasts from around the globe convened at the iconic Scottsdale, Arizona, locale to partake in another Barrett-Jackson collector car auction extravaganza. And partake they did. As drink glasses emptied and the bright lights shone, one classic car after another rolled across the stage. The experience never gets old, and if you’ve never been to one of Barrett-Jackson’s spectacles, put it on your bucket list. Adding to the bidding fervor is Barrett-Jackson’s trademark no-reserve auctions. Could you imagine the anxiety if you were a seller? I’d be a basket case, but Barrett-Jackson pulls it off year after year!

Now, without further ado, here is every Mid-Year Corvette that hammered at this year’s Scottsdale Fall auction. First, we’ll start you off with the customs, then move on to the original classics.   • This custom 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Split-Window Coupe is powered by an LS9 ZR1 V8 crate engine with a polished supercharger rated at 638hp and 604 ft/lbs of torque, cooled by a custom aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The engine is backed by a Tremec TKO 600 5-speed manual transmission coupled to a Dana 44 independent rear end. Stopping power comes from a Hydratech hydraulic-assist braking system controlling 6-piston Wilwood calipers on the front and 4-piston Wilwood calipers on the rear. The underside features a highly polished mandrel-bent MagnaFlow stainless-steel exhaust system, all set in a red, powder-coated chassis from Street Shops with fully adjustable coilover shocks on all four corners. Everything is either chrome, powder-coated, stainless or aluminum, creating a very functional chassis. The exterior is finished in Mercedes-Benz Brilliant Silver over a custom Porsche CanCan Red interior, created by Chuck Rowland Car Upholstery in Oklahoma.   • This 1966 Chevrolet Corvette custom coupe was professionally restored and custom built by Todd Compton Classic Corvettes. It is a fresh build completed in September 2024 with test/tune miles. Power comes from a new BluePrint Engines 555hp 6.2-liter LS3 engine, with a 3-year warranty. The engine is backed by a Tremec TKO 5-speed manual transmission putting power to the pavement through an independent rear suspension using an 8.8 rear differential. The engine is dressed in billet Corvette-scripted valve covers and breathes through hand-built coated headers feeding a dual side-pipe exhaust system. It is cooled with a large aluminum radiator with twin fans. The chassis is equipped with GM C7 control arms and brakes, along with Flaming River power rack & pinion steering, by Street Shop. Other equipment includes a power-actuated hood, Detroit Speed wiper and headlight controls, new fuel tank, stainless brake and fuel lines, and an electronic e-brake system.   • This custom 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Split-Window Coupe is powered by a Magnuson-supercharged GM LS3 V8 engine enhanced with Lingenfelter’s head porting and camshaft upgrades, pushing 713hp and 620 ft/lbs of torque. Power and gear selection is channeled through a Tremec TK0600 5-speed manual transmission, managed by a hydraulic clutch and Lokar shifter. An aluminum driveshaft helps transfer power to the rear end. The engine bay is clean with many polished components including long-tube headers. Polished side pipes with muffler inserts complete the exhaust system. The Street Shop chassis is powder-coated for durability, with upgraded suspension including custom control arms and rear housing truss, which intermingle with QA1 coilovers.
