Unofficially, That Is

It would seem that the 2020 Corvette Stingray can do a 0-60 mph time in three seconds flat. With the Z51 package, that stat drops to 2.9 seconds. The car can do a standing quarter-mile in just 11.3 at 121 mph. It’ll stop from 60 mph in just 115.1 feet. With the Z51 package, it’ll stop in 108.4 feet. Curb weight is 3,535 pounds. All of this information was posted to Corvette Forum by the user BJ67.

According to BJ67, he was able to connect with an engineer at the Corvettes at Carlisle event. While there, he saw the engineer’s booklet, which had the following information on it. He frantically snapped several pictures of the booklet. That’s how we got these pictures.

It’s unclear if they are legitimate. While they look like it, Chevrolet has not yet said that they are accurate. It’s also not clear if these will be the final performance numbers. Chevrolet is still actively trying to solidify these numbers, so there’s a chance these numbers could be officially from GM, but not the final numbers for the car.

According to Corvette Blogger, Tadge Juechter of Chevrolet told everyone at the Corvettes at Carlisle event the following: “We still have a ways to go. We have to do some additional test work, some final tweaking on the calibrations…a lot of little fine-tuning still left to do to make sure the car is perfect when we finally do start production.”

It will be interesting to see what the performance numbers officially come out to be, but you can bet on these numbers being pretty close. Here are the images:
