The 25th Anniversary Edition is a hardened up version of Callaway's Corvette SC757, which in turn is based on a C7-generation Corvette Z06. It features a supercharged V8 that pumps out 757-horsepower and 777 pound-feet of torque. The supercharger is a GenThree Callaway unit with the company's TripleCooled intercooler system. A high-flow intake system feeds that beast. Callaway's Level Two HD Cooling System also helps it avoid the overheating issues that plagued C7 Z06s.
Callaway Competition has constructed some of the most successful GT3 race cars in history. Competing against the world’s premier marques, Callaway is currently recognized as the most successful race team of the ADAC GT Masters series. To celebrate Callaway Competition’s 25th anniversary, we’re building 25 unique, specially-equipped “Callaway Champion” road cars. The Z06-based Champions are built by our expert craftsmen.
2014 LT1 Engine
It seems as if many of the engine-related advancements found in standard General Motors’ vehicles, first came to prominence when implemented in Corvette production, a decade or more prior. One such engine, which could easily be considered revolutionary, is the 2014 6.2-liter LT1. This fearsome powerplant was as sophisticated as it was powerful.
For the 2014 model year, the Chevrolet team sculpted the seventh-generation Corvette into the most sophisticated, most feature-packed Corvette produced to date. Facing a daunting challenge, new technology enabled Callaway engineers to produce breathtaking power with seamless transition into and out of positive manifold pressure. Entirely new, Callaway’s patented GenThree supercharger design improved airflow quality and increased charge air cooling capacity.
2017 corvette c7 z06
You can find a newer, low-mileage, Corvette at a price point that is reasonable when looking at a C7 vs the competition. You'll pay more than you would for a Mustang, Challenger or Camaro, but you'll get a lot more car for the money too.

At the heart of the ZR1 Corvette resides the supercharged 6.2L LT5. GM’s engineering department was also tasked with producing the ZR1’s engine, which would have to perform at a higher level than that of the Z06’s supercharged LT4 small-block. The 755 HP supercharged LT5 would elevate the Corvette’s performance to a level never before achieved.
For only the second time in Chevrolet history, a Corvette is now available in a Drivers Series special edition. Actually, there’s four, all Grand Sports designed in collaboration with Corvette Racing team drivers Milner, Gavin, Magnussen and Garcia. The idea came from Chevrolet exterior design manager Kirk Bennion, a racing fan who was also at the Rolex 24, according to Corvette Marketing Manager Todd Christensen. Four Drivers Series special editions is definitely more fun than one.
The 2019 Corvette ZR1 was the official Pace Car for the 2018 Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil and led drivers to the green flag on Sunday, May 27, for the 102nd running of the legendary race. It marks the 15th time a Corvette has served as the official Pace Car since 1978, and the 29th time a Chevrolet has led the field dating back to 1948, when a 1948 Fleetmaster Six convertible paced the race.
