If you’ve been following the C8 on social media, you will notice our beloved eighth-generation Corvette does have some issues. We highlighted some of the first-hand perspectives in an ongoing series, available here: Mid-Year Durability Report, and End of 2023 Report. The issues the C8 is having may be marginally higher than in previous generations, but I believe most of the increased chatter can be attributed to the increasing popularity of social media, and just how easy it is for owners to vent their frustrations.
And that’s exactly what Brandon did, but with a twist at the end.
Yikes! Are you as speechless as I was when I first read this unbridled devotion?
His candid affection has garnered quite a response!
It didn’t take long for Lemon law talk to begin…
Brandon certainly tries to keep his sense of humor.
The C8 problems are getting noticed, but not without logical retorts from loyalists.
What would you do in Brandon’s case? How loyal are you when your Corvette has issues? I can certainly relate to Brandon, as my 2000 FRC has tested my patience numerous times, as have many brand-new Corvettes I bought back in the early 2000s. This is the addiction and affliction we hardcore enthusiasts have! And you know GM did something right with the C8 when the loyalty Brandon displays is not an isolated case on social media.
I think we can all agree Brandon wins the prize for loyalty.
