It’s no secret that Kevin Hart loves his classics and this was made even more clear when he dropped $825,000 on a 1959 Chevrolet Corvette. Hart won the Corvette resto-mod at the Barrett Jackson auction recently held in Scottsdale.
The freshly restored C1 Corvette was finished in Franny Green with a Linen leather interior. As gorgeous as the beautiful interior and the laser straight exterior are, they are a very small part of what makes this C1 resto-mod an insane sport-tourer.
The ‘59 Corvette comes packing a 460hp 6.2-liter 2020 LT1 V8 – the same engine that powered the C7 Corvette. It also comes with a C7 front suspension from Art Morrison, adjustable Strange coilovers, C7 6-piston front calipers, braided lines, power steering, and bespoke EVOD wheels.
Hart attended the auction in Scottsdale with his Plastic Cup Boyz comedy crew, who will be featured on the MotorTrend app this summer with the hilarious Muscle Car Crew.
Hart is no noob when it comes to collecting wicked cars. He’s owned some awesome classics such as a Pontiac GTO, Ford Mustang GT500E, Ford Bronco, Dodge Charger, and his famous Plymouth Barracuda that almost took his life in a horrific crash in 2019.
Kevin Hart has an eclectic taste as you can see from his lineup of American classics, Luxury SUVs, European and Italian supercars. He also recently shared a picture of his $330,000 Ferrari 488 Pista online – in good taste.
Kev’s from Philly so naturally he’s a car guy & so am I.
