Introducing Chad White, Sales and Event Coordinator at the NCM Motorsports Park
This past Friday, I traveled to the National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park to run tour laps in my 2016 Stingray with a few of my fellow Corvette enthusiasts. While I was there, I had the great pleasure of speaking with Chad White, the NCM Motorsport Park’s Sales and Event Coordinator. We talked for several minutes while I waited for my turn on the track, and the results of that conversation led me to write the following article. Although many of our readers are intimately familiar with the National Corvette Museum, I wanted to put a spotlight on the racetrack that resides, quite literally, “across the street” from the Museum on the other side of Interstate 65, and to highlight some of the events that are available to both Corvette and non-Corvette owners and enthusiasts alike.
First, though, let me introduce you to Chad White.
A lifelong resident of Kentucky, Chad grew up in Franklin and attended college at Transylvania University in Lexington. After graduating college, Chad spent several years honing his managerial skills in big box retail and later, his sales skills in the insurance industry. This unique combination of skills, along with more than 30 years of exposure to the amazing car community that is ever-present in South Central Kentucky, made Chad the perfect candidate for the Sales and Event Coordinator position at the NCM Motorsports Park.
Chad explained why he wanted to become part of the NCM Motorsports Park team: “Taking on the Sales and Events Coordinator position at the Motorsports Park has allowed me to become part of a very progressive thinking team that is striving towards promoting our facility to its fullest! We have one of the most unique tracks (and venues) in the entire country and are thinking forward to how we can continue to make the NCM Motorsports Park a true Destination location. By expanding our appeal to race enthusiasts, car lovers, and families alike, we know that the NCM Motorsports Park can offer a truly unique and thrilling experience, no matter who you are or what level of experience you bring. While we have many individuals willing to assist at MSP, my specific role will focus on our Driving Club Memberships and small to large Corporate Events.”
