Get The Right Price
As you may have guessed, some dealers are taking advantage of the popularity of the 2020 Corvette Stingray. They’re selling the cars over the MSRP. That means they’re slapping hearty additional costs and fees on the car in order to make some additional money. Not all dealers are doing this, however. On Corvette Forum, there’s a growing list of dealers that are selling the cars at the proper price.
The List of Dealers selling at MSRP
The list is invaluable to anyone who’s interested in buying a C8 Corvette, so we hope all Corvette fans share this amongst themselves so that as many people as possible can get a good price on the C8 Corvette. Here are the dealers currently selling the car at MSRP:
- Paul Masse Chevrolet, Providence, RI
- Ross Downing Chevrolet, Hammond, LA
- Campbell Chevrolet – Bowling Green, KY
- Uftring Chevrolet – Washington, IL
- Bridgewater Chevrolet – Bridgewater, NJ
- Harchelroad Motors Imperial, NE
- Henna Chevrolet – Austin, TX
- Moran Chevrolet – Mt. Clemens, MI
- Carr Chevrolet – Beaverton, OR
- Bowman Chevrolet – Clarkston, MI
- Healy Chevrolet – Poughkeepsie, NY
- Reeder Chevrolet – Knoxville, TN
It is important to note that this list is being updated as more information comes in, so the dealerships listed in this article might not be accurate at a later date. There’s a large chance that more dealerships will be added. It’s also quite possible that some dealers will stop price-gouging customers and start selling at MSRP because they see other dealers doing so. Check the Corvette Forum post (linked above) to see the most recent list.
You did not nention Kerbeck in Atlantic City ,NJ. Reported to be the largest
Corvette dealer in the USA . They traditionally sell BELOW msrp on
new and new release Corvettes. Possibly they are not yet publishing data. But I can tell you on 500 dollar pre orders they are at msrp.
And Joe Zulli at Kerbeck Corvette was my sales rep. and did one hell of a job. My wife and I picked up our 2021 Zeus Bronze 3lt 2 weeks ago from the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Ky.
The museum delivery experience was terrific. We drove the car home to Reno Nevada, 3000 miles, with stops in Nashville, New Orleans, Houston, San Antonio, Tucson, Las Vegas and into Reno.
This vehicle is smooooth and quick!
Bought the car for MSRP and Joe kept us informed all along the way, I could not be happier with Joe and Kerbeck, fair honest and responsive!
Well, Bridgewater Chevrolet should now be off the list. Total B.S. They advertise C8’s on their web-site as “in transit” and list the MSRP. There’s a drop down which provides buying details. It states that the vehicle price is MSRP plus Doc fee, tax and tags. Doc fee is $599. Okay, fair enough. So I indicate I’d like to purchase a particular C8 which is “in transit”. I’m told that one is already sold, that it will be at least 1 1/2 to 2 years before one will be available. But I can place an order and pay a “Market adjustment” (currently $15,000) and get it in maybe a year.
Here’s there web-site availability: https://www.bridgewaterchevy.com/VehicleSearchResults?search=new&make=Chevrolet&model=Corvette
Staying clear of this dealership as they are PRICE GOUGING!
I just found out the same thing with Bridgewater. Take them off the list.
Yep. Now a $35,000 adjustment. Clowns.
Reeder Chevrolet is charging 25k over MSRP
That is not price gouging, it is what the market brings. I don’t see any c-8 owners selling their used Vettes at MSRP or below and they are used……
