Hennessey’s Supercharged 700 HP C8 Corvette Sounds Definitely Better Than The C8 Z06

Hennessey, a performance tuner based in Texas, offers a kit for the Chevy C8 Corvette Stingray that enhances its power output beyond that of the new Z06 while retaining the distinct engine note characteristic of the Corvette.

Dubbed the H700, the kit from Hennessey derives its name from the remarkable power it provides. By incorporating a high-flow centrifugal supercharger, an air induction system featuring an air-to-water intercooler, and an optional cat-back exhaust, the car’s performance reaches impressive levels, generating 708 horsepower and 638 lb-ft (865 Nm) of torque.

This power output represents a significant 44 percent increase over the standard 490 horsepower and a notable 37 percent improvement over the standard 465 lb-ft (630 Nm) of torque. Notably, it surpasses the C8 Z06, which features a naturally-aspirated 5.5-liter V8 engine with a flat-plane crank, producing 670 horsepower and 460 lb-ft (623 Nm) of torque.

The H700 package includes several additional features. Lightweight 19-inch and 20-inch wheels are available, offering brushed aluminum, satin black, or graphite finishes. Hennessey has also created new graphics to further enhance the sporty allure of this mid-engined supercar.

As a proof, Hennessey released yet another video of their supercharged 700 HP C8 Corvette creating an a beautiful exhaust roar that will definitely send shivers down your spine!
