The folks at Hennessey Performance got their hands on a C8 Corvette Z06 with the Z07 package and pushed it to the limits by putting it on a top speed test where it reached 188 mph. It’s important to note though that the Z07 package is primarily designed to enhance the Z06’s track performance. This track-focused package includes a massive rear spoiler that generates substantial downforce, which, in turn, leads to increased drag and a reduction in top speed. However, this trade-off is well justified by the package’s significant advantages in braking zones and corners on the racetrack.
