Chevrolet delivered on its promise of a midengined Corvette in 2019 and, in 2023, brought back the Z06, drawing from its racing heritage. The Z06 features the new LT6 all-aluminum V-8 engine, a 5.5L DOHC powerhouse derived directly from the championship-winning C8.R race car.
The LT6 boasts dry-sump oiling, a flat plane crank, titanium rods, titanium intake valves, ram-tuned intakes, electronic sequential fuel injection, and stainless steel tube headers. It is the largest and most powerful naturally aspirated engine ever, delivering 670 HP at 8,400 RPM and 460 lb-ft of torque at 6,300 RPM.
Paired with a paddle-shifted 8-speed dual clutch transmission, the LT6 propels the C8 Z06 from 0 to 60 MPH in 2.6 seconds, with a top speed nearing 200 MPH. With Magnetic Selective Ride Control 4.0, carbon ceramic disc brakes, and race-proven aerodynamics, the Z06 earns its place among supercars.
This 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 convertible, finished in Amplify Orange Tintcoat, features the Z07 Performance Package, 3LZ Equipment Group, and Carbon Fiber Aero Package, including a carbon-fiber high wing, front dive planes, and ground effects.
It also comes with front-axle lift system, power-retractable hardtop, Jake C8.R Graphics Package, LED headlights, 20″ and 21″ forged aluminum wheels, Z07 suspension, carbon-ceramic brakes, , and front and rear cameras.
Despite its racing pedigree, the Z06 interior is a haven of comfort and sophistication, featuring heated and ventilated power-adjustable GT2 bucket seats upholstered in Jet Black leather, complemented by a premium Bose sound system and other luxury amenities.
