Chevrolet marked the final year of production for the seventh-generation Corvette by introducing the most powerful and technologically advanced production version in its history. Despite the arrival of the mid-engine 2020 C8 Corvette, the appeal of the C7 ZR1 remains strong, especially considering that it is estimated that fewer than 3,000 ZR1 coupes and convertibles were produced.
At the heart of the C7 ZR1 lies the LT5 6.2-liter V-8 engine, boasting the highest output ever for a Chevrolet production vehicle. This incredible engine delivers 755 horsepower and 715 pounds-feet of torque, achieved through a more efficient intercooled supercharger system with 52 percent more displacement than the Corvette Z06’s LT4 supercharger.
To enhance aerodynamics and improve cooling of mechanical components, Chevrolet designed a unique front fascia featuring larger air inlets and diffusers. Two distinct aero packages further increased downforce and stability for more confident handling.
A standard rear “low wing” contributes to achieving the highest possible top speed, nearly 215 mph, while an optional adjustable “high wing” available as part of the ZTK Track Performance Package maximizes downforce for improved cornering and quicker lap times. The ZTK package includes a front splitter with carbon-fiber end caps, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, and specific chassis and Magnetic Ride Control tuning.
This 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 coupe showcases a Ceramic Matrix Gray Metallic exterior and Jet Black leather upholstery. Under the hood, it boasts a supercharged 6.2-liter LT5 V8 engine paired with a seven-speed manual gearbox and an electronic limited-slip differential.
The car comes equipped with the 3ZR Premium Equipment Group, Carbon Flash 19-inch and 20-inch star-spoke wheels, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, Magnetic Ride Control, a removable carbon-fiber roof panel, xenon headlights, a raised rear wing, heated and ventilated Competition Sport bucket seats, front and rear cameras, a head-up display, and a Bose sound system.
This C7 ZR1 is offered with just 6,000 miles on the odometer and is available for auction via Bring A Trailer.
