Designed by Classic Reflection Coachworks using a 2009 Corvette convertible as the base, this vehicle underwent a comprehensive transformation involving the replacement of all exterior body panels with custom retro-designed panels and chrome trim pieces.
Although closely resembling a 1958 Corvette on the outside, the conversion required specific contouring of body panels to integrate seamlessly with the 2006 Corvette inner body structure. Despite this, the resulting appearance authentically captures the essence of the 1958 Corvette in a modern interpretation.
Painted in red with white accents and featuring a reupholstered red and black leather interior, the car has only 15k miles. Alongside the 3LT Preferred Equipment Group, it boasts a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine paired with a six-speed automatic gearbox, 18″ and 19″ five-spoke wheels, a power-retractable black soft top, xenon headlights, a head-up display, heated power-adjustable seats, a six-disc CD stereo, a Bose sound system, a Billy Boat exhaust system, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
With less than 300 units produced, CRC’s Corvette conversions capture the spirit of late 1950s and mid-1960s Sting Rays. However, the company has announced the cessation of production and is seeking a buyer for the associated assets.
