FOR SALE: 2009 Chevrolet Corvette (C6) ZR1

Driven for just 5,960 miles since new

When production ceased on the “King of the Hill” C4 ZR1, with its Lotus-tuned V8 and specialized suspension, in 1995, Corvette enthusiasts began longing for another high-performance supercar. Fourteen years later, Chevy delivered with the C6 ZR1, equipped with a formidable 638-horsepower supercharged engine.

Similar to the C4 ZR1, the new model wasn’t just about power—it harnessed those horses through a close-ratio, race-strengthened 6-speed manual that drove specially designed Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires. Braking power came from massive carbon-ceramic, drilled disc brakes, while standard Magnetic Selective Ride Control with track-tuned suspension kept it stable in every direction.

Drawing on the lightweight principles of the earlier Lotus collaboration, the C6 ZR1 used carbon fiber for the fenders, hood, roof, front fascia, and rocker moldings, and added a polycarbonate hood window for a glimpse of its power.

This 2009 C6 Corvette ZR1, finished in Jetstream Blue with an Ebony and Dark Titanium interior, was originally sold to a collector in Saudi Arabia for $103,970. Equipped with the optional 3ZR trim package, it features a supercharged 6.2L V8 delivering 638 HP through a 6-speed manual transmission.

Inside, under the carbon fiber Targa roof, are amenities including an AM/FM/CD stereo with Bose speakers, dual-zone climate control, heated seats, a tachometer, and power windows, locks, and mirrors. The 2009 ZR1 also features quad exhaust tips, blue Brembo brake calipers, and chrome alloy wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires.

Now listed for sale on Collecting Cars, this 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 has 5,960 miles on the odometer, offering a rare chance to acquire a low-mileage example nearly a decade after it rolled off the production line.
