Don’t Just get a Corvette, Get a Callaway Corvette
If you love the C4 Corvette, but just want something that’s a little … more, then you should consider a Callaway Corvette. Specifically, this 1992 Chevrolet Corvette Callaway SuperNatural Convertible. It’s for sale right now on Bring A Trailer.
In August 1992, this C4 Corvette Convertible was sent to Callaway Cars of Old Lyme, Connecticut. From there it was fitted with the SuperNatural 400 engine package as well as the Aerobody kit with a color-matched hardtop.
Then in 1996, the car was sent back to Callaway, where the current LT1-based 383ci stroker V8 with the SuperNatural 435 engine package was put in the car.
The car features a Corvette Yellow exterior over a black leather interior. Additional touches include 17-inch OZ Monte Carlo wheels, Coilover suspension, and a SuperNatural stainless exhaust system. There’s also a black convertible soft top, power windows, cruise control, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a Delco/Bose CD stereo.
As of right now, the car shows 49,000 miles. The seller is offering the car with a copy of its window sticker, Callaway product catalogs, a Callaway Certificate of Authenticity, invoices for Callaway modifications in 1992 and 1996, service records since 2006, a set of Callaway floor mats, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Louisiana title.
At the time of this writing, bidding on this particular vehicle is up to $14,777, so the price is still rather low. However, there are still five days left on the auction, so I would assume it will only climb from there.
