This Is a Car You Want to Own
Say hello to the next Corvette for your garage. This 1982 Chevrolet Corvette Collector Edition is currently for sale on Bring A Trailer, and it’s a fantastic example of America’s sports car.
The vehicle is one of the few Collector Edition cars that was built in 1982. The car features a 350ci L83 V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. The car has a silver-beige metallic over a matching interior, frameless glass hatchback, factory bronze-tinted T-tops, and a Cross-Fire fuel-injection system.
According to the seller, the car was refurbished in the 1990s, and it has since been well maintained. The car was purchased by the seller in 2019. There are photographs and documentation of the restoration of the car. There’s also a clean Carfax report and a clean Tennessee title in the seller’s name.
There is some minor corrosion on the underside of the car, but that’s to be expected with a Tennessee car, and the corrosion is minor. The rest of the car looks great. At the time of this writing, the bidding is up to $8,250 and there are three days left on the auction.
