Feast Your Eyes on This 70s Vette
The C3 Corvette has the curves to keep your eyes busy for days. It’s a beautiful car, and if you haven’t owned one, then here’s your chance. This particular car is for sale on Bring A Trailer.
It’s a 1971 Corvette Convertible that was sold new from Lyman-Slack Motors of Portland, Oregon, in 1971. The original owner kept the car until 2014. From there it was acquired in 2015 and it now has approximately 17,000 miles on the odometer.
Finished in War Bonnet Yellow (looks gold to me) the car is especially fetching. The interior is beautiful black leather. Under the hood is a 350 cubic-inch V8 engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment on this car includes a colors-matching removable hardtop, black soft top, power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, and a push-button AM/FM radio.
The car also comes with a window sticker, the original dealer invoice, a Protect-O-Plate, an NCRS Top Flight award from 2014, an NCRS Shipping Data report, and a clean Pennsylvania title.
At the time of this writing, the bidding is up to $34,000. The auction listing still has five days left on it, so I’d expect a couple more bids to come in. If you want this gorgeous machine, then you’ll have to do a bit better than $34k.
