Ex-Martin Truex Jr. 2010 Corvette ZR1 For Sale

Owned by Martin Truex Jr.

The Corvette has long held the title of America’s Sports Car, and Chevrolet elevated it to supercar status with the C6 Corvette ZR1 that was first introduced in 2009. This limited-production model marked a significant milestone, becoming the first Corvette capable of reaching 200 MPH and the most powerful car in General Motors’ lineup at the time.

It was powered by a supercharged and intercooled 6.2-liter LS9 V8 engine with a dry-sump lubrication system, delivering 638 horsepower and 604 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, it was incredibly fast, achieving 0-60 MPH in about 3.4 seconds, 0-100 MPH in around 7.6 seconds, and a top speed ranging between 195 and 205 MPH.

This particular 2009 ZR1 has only 838 miles on the odometer and has been optioned with the 3ZR Package, which includes heated seats with memory settings, a power-adjustable steering column, steering wheel audio controls, a Bose sound system, and navigation. The car is finished in Blade Silver with an Ebony leather interior.

Additional features include navigation, dual-zone climate control, heated seats, a power telescoping steering wheel, Magnetic Ride Control, and Active Handling. The ZR1’s aggressive design showcases 19″ and 20″ multi-spoke alloy wheels, Brembo ceramic-composite brakes, and carbon fiber accents on the roof, splitter, fenders, and hood.

This 2009 ZR1 is now offered for sale on Bring A Trailer on behalf of Martin Truex Jr., an American professional stock car racing driver, who has owned this car since he purchased it new from Randy Marion Chevrolet in Mooresville, North Carolina.
