This three-part series was initially inspired by my daily activity on numerous Corvette-specific social media pages, mostly Facebook (which tends to be the most vocal). While scrolling through my Facebook feed, on a weekly basis I noticed numerous complaints from C8 owners, and the idea to curate them in a series that may be helpful to current (and future) owners was birthed. My hope (and goal) was to help somebody with an issue know they are not alone or give a potential owner a heads up on what they may experience with the revolutionary eighth-generation Corvette.
As I mentioned before, this is merely a snapshot of the issues C8 owners are experiencing, who take the time to complain, vent, and look for advice on social media. And it’s worth saying again, that I have a lot of love and admiration for the Corvette, (including the eight-generation model), have owned 20 over the decades, and currently drive a 2000 FRC. CorvSport was birthed from a passion for all things Corvette, which will be apparent if you follow the numerous daily posts on our Facebook page.
