Just before the end of 2023, CorvSport featured an interesting and eclectic collection of Corvettes owned by none other than George Foreman. At the time of the initial publication, this mix of ‘Vettes had already garnered $217,200 in bids, with 20,571 views, and 46 bids. How did they do after the full 10 rounds of bidding?
First, a random George Foreman factoid. Did you know the iconic “Lean Mean Fat-Reducing Grilling Machine” that made George Foreman infamous (and rich) after he hung up his boxing gloves was actually offered to Hulk Hogan first? It was, and Hulk declined.
Now, onto the George Foreman Collection, which was offered at no-reserve on the Hagerty Marketplace.

Is there really any reason to be surprised by the first-place finish of the Split Window Sting Ray? Especially after witnessing the Colorama Collection offered at Mecum Kissimmee, where the pristine Split Window Sting Rays averaged $259,875 on the auction block. The Callaway was popular, with 34,874 views, and hammered for about double the $23,000 average from our early 2023 Callaway market review (click here).
Here’s how the collection did in the final weeks of the Hagerty Marketplace Auction:
