The Next Z06 Is Coming Soon
There have been tons to talk about with the new 2020 Corvette Stingray. However, Chevrolet still has to release higher-performance versions of the C8 Corvette, and one that should be coming up is the Z06. The car has been rumored to be p[owered by a 5.5-liter V8 with a flat-plane crank. That rumor makes sense because that’s what’s in the C8.R racing car.
What hasn’t been speculated about much is how the interior of the Z06 will compare with the 2020 Corvette’s interior. Recently, a sketch of the car’s design was sent to CNET’s Roadshow. This design rendering is the first look of what the Z06 could look like. The design sketch was created by General Motors Interior Design Manager Tristan Murphy and it’s called “an early render of a potential interior” for the Z06.
As you can see, the overall shape is the same, no big surprise there. However, there are many of the details that have changed, including the gauge cluster, steering wheel, infotainment screen, buttons, and the gear selector. All of this essentially means the Z06’s interior could be far different from the Corvette Stingray’s. We’ve included an image of the 2020 Corvette Stingray’s interior below so you can compare it to the rendering provided by Chevrolet which is shown below the Stingray’s image.
