Two beautiful Corvettes are on offer at Bring a Trailer, a 1957 Chevrolet Corvette 283/245 and a modified 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Coupe.
1957 Chevrolet Corvette 283/245
The previous owner of this 1957 Chevrolet Corvette had it finished in eye-catching red with matching white coves. The 15-inch body-colored steel wheels with chrome covers and whitewall tires also matches perfectly with the finish. It has a tan convertible soft top, dual-outlet exhaust at the rear bumper uprights, bright-finished trim, mirror, chrome grill, and bumperettes.
When it was refurbished, the body was completely stripped down to the fiberglass. It was then primed, block sanded, and then it was repainted to the finish seen today. The metal trim pieces were said to have been reconditioned, while the convertible top frame was sandblasted and refinished.
Manual four-wheel drums give this Corvette its braking power. There is also a full-size spare tire and jack mounted in the trunk.
For the interior, the seats are trimmed in red vinyl that matches with the red dashboard topper, carpets, and door panels. The white dashboard carries push-button radio, speaker, the dash-mounted rearview mirror, and analog clock. The three-spoke red steering wheel frames the 140-mph speedometer and the five-digit odometer that shows 98k miles. Roughly 200 miles were added by the current consigner. Gauges for fuel level, voltage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure are on the center.
Under the hood is the 283ci V8 with four-barrel carburetors, matched with a four-speed manual transmission. This Corvette was factory rated at 245 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. Both the engine and transmission were said to have been refurbished and rebuilt under previous ownership.
The example was recently given an oil change.

Modified 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Coupe 7-Speed
The modified 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Coupe has a Torch Red finish and features a rear spoiler, front splitter, xenon headlamps, tinted windows, power-adjustable and heated mirrors, and quad exhaust outlets. It was said to have been given a ceramic coating though there are some blemishes on the front bumper and rear brake ducts.
Signature forged black-finished 19-inch wheels with ceramic coating wrapped in Toyo Proxes R888R tires sized 295/30 and 345/30 for the front and rear, respectively. The Z06 package includes red brake calipers, upgraded factory suspension with magnetic ride control, and slotted rotors all around. There are two scratches on the wheels.
For the interior, it has an eight-way power-adjustable bucket seats wrapped in Adrenalin Red leather, a great contrast to the black center console, door panels, and carpets. Comfort features include dual-zone climate control, power windows, head-up display, touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, and a Bose audio system. This Corvette was also given the 2LZ trim package which added heated and ventilated seats.
Behind the flat-bottom wheel is the 220-mph speedometer, digital display, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer shows 15k miles with roughly 10k miles were added by the current consigner.
Powering this supercar is a supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8 matched with a seven-speed manual transmission that powers the rear wheels. It also has a 3.42:1 rear axle with an electronic limited-slip differential.
