Few cars manage to put a smile on my face quite like these two—the Corvette E-Ray and the Z06. From Chevrolet, these two supercars offer thrilling performances in two different flavors: one electrified and one raw, naturally aspirated.
Powering the Corvette E-Ray is the LT2 V8 engine, delivering 495 horsepower, supplemented by an additional 160 horsepower from the electric drive unit, resulting in a combined output of 655 horsepower. This Corvette can now launch from 0-60 in just 2.5 seconds and race up to well above 100 miles per hour in just a few seconds more.
The C8 Z06, on the other hand, is equipped with a 5.5L, naturally aspirated V8 engine with a flat-plane crankshaft, delivering 670 horsepower that is capable of propelling the car’s occupants from 0-60 mph in an insanely fast 2.6 seconds.
