The 2019 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 boasts an impressive starting price of about $80,000, yet can accelerate from 0-60 MPH in a mere 2.95 seconds – a feat typically associated with costly Italian supercars. This attainable driver’s car was developed alongside the Corvette race team and their C7.R racecar.
Available as either a coupe or convertible, the Z06 is equipped to make a lasting impression with its carbon-fiber roof panel (matching the body color), nineteen-inch alloy wheels in the front, and twenty-inch alloy wheels in the rear.
Inside, the GT bucket seats are supportive and comfortable, and the dual-zone automatic climate control adds to the driving experience, along with the premium Bose audio system and the performance exhaust. The Z06 model also includes standard keyless open with push-button start and perforated Mulan leather upholstery (upgradeable to perforated Napa leather).
In its standard form, the Z06’s infernal 6.2-litre supercharged V8 engine produces a mesmerizing 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, with the option of a 7-speed manual gearbox or an 8-speed automatic. This 2019 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 has been upgraded with Callaway’s SC757 package, which brings the total power output of its 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine to 757 HP and 777 lb.-ft of torque.
