The ZR1 epitomizes Corvette’s technology-driven performance legacy spanning six decades. Introduced in 1970, the ZR1 option was available with the LT1 engine, featuring solid lifters, a heavy-duty 4-speed transmission, power brakes, an aluminum radiator, and enhanced suspension. Only 58 ZR1-equipped Corvettes were sold initially, establishing its reputation for exclusivity and high performance.
In 2013, Chevrolet celebrated this milestone with the 60th Anniversary Design Package for the final year of the C6 generation Corvette. It featured an Arctic White exterior, Blue Diamond leather interior with blue stitching, and distinctive “60th” logos on the wheel caps, steering wheel, and seat head restraints.
Additional touches included suede accents, a ZR1-style spoiler, and gray-painted brake calipers. This particular 2013 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Coupe is one of just 138 commemorative 60th Anniversary ZR1s produced, powered by a 6.2L supercharged LS9 V-8 engine delivering 638 HP through a 6-speed manual transmission.
