The 60th-anniversary package for the Corvette featured Arctic White paint with Silver Pearl stripes, a Diamond Blue leather interior with custom blue stitching, and suede accents on the steering wheel, shifter, parking brake, and door panels. It also included a ZR1-style spoiler and special 60th-anniversary emblems.
This design package was available across the Corvette lineup but was particularly striking when applied to the Z06. Introduced in 2006, following the debut of the C6 in 2005, the sixth-generation Z06 was the pinnacle of naturally aspirated Corvettes. Available only as a coupe, it featured a lightweight hydro-formed aluminum chassis with magnesium rollover protection and engine cradle.
The real highlight was its 7.0-liter all-aluminum LS7 V8 engine, boasting 505 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. With titanium connecting rods and intake valves, 11.0:1 compression, and a dry-sump oiling system, the Z06 could reach 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds and had a top speed close to 200 mph.
The 60th Anniversary Z06 becomes even more impressive if optioned with the Z07 Ultimate Performance Package, which includes Brembo carbon brakes with gray calipers, Magnetic Ride Control, and larger Michelin Cup tires mounted on 20-inch ZR1 wheels.
