This 2010 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Split Window Coupe pays tribute to the iconic 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Z06. This black 2010 Corvette Z06 has undergone professional bodywork by Karl’s Kustom, a well-regarded Chevrolet Performance customization, service, and parts provider. They’ve skillfully redesigned this vehicle to capture the styling elements of the inaugural 1963 Corvette, including the rear split window, circular taillights, retractable headlights, split front and rear bumpers, and reworked body panels. Remarkably, all exterior body panels are brand new except for the roof and exterior mirrors.
Built on the foundation of a C6 Corvette Z06, it retains the modern-day Z06 mechanical specifications, featuring a 7.0L LS7 engine with dry-sump lubrication, delivering 505 HP, paired with a 6-speed Tremec manual gearbox. Drilled and slotted disc brakes and a 4-wheel independent suspension contribute to its performance. The car has also been equipped with wheels and tires sourced from a 2010 Corvette ZR1, and the interior has been custom-crafted to suit this unique build.
