This 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 was modified in 2011 by Karl Kustoms of Des Moines, Iowa, to feature 1963 Corvette split-window-style bodywork. The modifications include a custom stinger-style hood, front and rear fascias, rear quarter panels, front fenders, and a split-window rear hatch, all made from fiberglass.
The car is finished in black and includes split bumperettes, “Fuel Injection” badges, a faux fuel filler, polished quad exhaust outlets, 18″ and 19″ twin-spoke wheels, and brake cooling ducts ahead of the rear wheels.
The interior features power-adjustable bucket seats upholstered in Ebony leather, along with a matching dashboard, center console, door panels, and carpets. It also includes Keyless Access, push-button start, a head-up display, a CD stereo, cruise control, and automatic climate control.
Power comes from a 7.0-liter LS7 V8 with a dry-sump lubrication system, factory rated at 505 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential.
