In 1984, Chevrolet introduced the fourth-generation Corvette (C4), marking the model’s first complete redesign since 1963. The updated chassis reduced weight and increased rigidity, all wrapped in a modern, streamlined body.
To commemorate the Corvette’s 35th anniversary in 1988, Chevrolet produced 2,050 special 35th Anniversary Edition models. These cars featured an all-white finish with a white interior, a special identification badge near the shifter, and white color-matched alloy wheels.
These Corvettes were equipped with a 5.7L V-8 engine with a tuned port injection system, paired with an automatic transmission. The 35th Anniversary Edition also included power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seats, power mirrors, air conditioning, cruise control, a tilt steering column, and an electronic digital AM/FM/cassette stereo system.
