This custom 1963 Chevrolet Corvette pays a striking homage to the Grand Sport in a truly captivating manner. It embraces the Grand Sport’s original engineering specifications with a custom 4-inch tube chassis and features the iconic Grand Sport Daytona hood and body flares.
The Corvette boasts a Charcoal paint finish with a silver stripe accented in red, while the front end mirrors the style of the original Grand Sport, featuring exposed headlights and a lower splitter. The rear split window has been replaced with a single Plexiglas piece, and various other custom elements bring this Corvette closer to its historic counterparts.
Under the hood lies a polished aluminum 5.7L GM Lingenfelter LS6 V-8 engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. To ensure control, it’s equipped with power rack-and-pinion steering, power disc brakes with cross-drilled and slotted rotors, and unique cooling ducts for the rear brakes.
The front suspension is a coilover independent design, while the rear utilizes a monoleaf setup. Rolling on alloy wheels wrapped in substantial rubber, the interior exudes refined racing luxury, featuring Torch Red upholstery, aluminum accents, quilted patterns, power windows, and supportive bucket seats.
