Back in the 1960s, auto manufacturers are actively building race cars that they can used for racing. This 1960 Corvette is one of only ten that were built by Chevy and was used to compete at the 12 Hours of Sebring. The factory-built race car was ordered by racer and businessman George Reed of “Reed’s Race Rats”, hence its name.
