The popularity of Resto Modding continues to give rise to stunning creations like this 1956 Chevrolet Corvette convertible. Besides the new upgrades, this car has some extra touches that might not be obvious at first. The Jim Meyer Racing Products suspension parts, with a Ford 9-inch rear, special front A-arms, steering, coilovers, and disc brakes, are pretty high-tech.
When you open the hood, you’ll find a powerful 283/325 HP engine with special parts like a Comp Cams bumpstick, 327/365 HP heads, and a 750 CFM Holley 4-barrel on a special aluminum intake. This strong engine is connected to a Muncie 4-speed transmission shifted by a Hurst Competition Plus. But what really catches your eye is the outside and inside of the car.
The body is painted in a cool color called House of Kolor Sunset Pearl, and it has a removable hard top, special rear brake scoops, a 1955 Corvette rear bumper, ’59 Cadillac taillights, and C6 Corvette exhaust tips. There are also unique details like custom emblems and other interesting touches. The attention to quality extends inside too, with a special steering wheel, comfortable seat covers, power windows, air conditioning, and more of that cool Sunset Pearl color on the dashboard.
