Built in June 1955, this 1955 Chevrolet Corvette is said to have served as a prototype for the evaluation of the three-speed manual transmission before it was introduced as a standard factory option.
Finished in red with light beige upholstery, the car includes a tan soft top, side windows, headlight grilles, a heater, and an AM radio. It is powered by a 265ci V8 factory-rated at 195 horsepower, with power transmitted to the rear wheels through a three-speed manual transmission.
