The Corvette Bash Returns to Bowling Green This April!

No other event marks the start of “Corvette Season” like the Michelin NCM Bash!

Each year, the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky hosts this awesome event wherein Corvette owners and enthusiasts alike gather to get up-close-and-personal with the next model year Corvettes. The NCM Bash marks the official start of the Museum’s on-site event season and is one of the largest events held there each year.

The National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky will once more host the 2018 Michelin NCM Bash!

The 2018 NCM Bash, which will be hosted by the National Corvette Museum on April 26-28, 2018,  will provide enthusiasts a chance to see the new 2019 Corvette Stingray in all its iterations, including the Grand Sport, the Z06 and for the first-time ever, the 2019 Corvette ZR1.  Fans of the ZR1 will have the opportunity to attend seminars and get all the latest information on the new super-car.

As in years past, there will be a large contingent of GM engineers and designers from the Warren Tech Center and the Bowling Green Assembly Plant This year, scheduled showcase speakers will include Tadge Juechter – Corvette Chief Engineer, Kirk Bennion – Corvette Designer, and Harlan Charles – Chevrolet Corvette Product Marketing Manager.  As in years past, this team (along with other speakers throughout the event) will present on the 2019 model year Corvettes and will remain onsite throughout the day to answer questions and meet with enthusiasts for pictures and autographs.

In addition to the engineering and marketing groups, Doug Fehan, Corvette Racing’s Program Manager will be at the event to discuss the upcoming racing season and to answer questions about the teams and about the Corvette C7.R Race Car General Motors Paul Pearson will present his “7th Generation Infotainment/Navigation Seminar.”  This entertaining and informative presentation is designed to provide owners with a greater understanding of the many capabilities that their C7 Corvette Stingray’s individual infotainment centers is capable of.

Other activities scheduled for the event include:

  • A presentation of the restored 1962 Sinkhole Corvette
  • An LT4 engine building demonstration by Brian Lee and John Wurth from the Bowling Green Assembly Plant
  • A seminar and classroom sessions hosted by GM certified technicians Paul Koerner & Brittany George
  • Guided road tours around Bowling Green (and surround areas)
  • Two celebrity choice car shows,
  • The Ladies’ Oasis
  • An expanded Garage Party with Women of the GM Corvette Team

The three day event will also host a plethora of other activities interspersed throughout the event.  A complete schedule of activities is listed below.

Anyone interested in attending the NCM Bash may register online between now and 8:00am (central time) on Tuesday, April 18, 2018.  All activities will be open to event registrants only.  Anyone registering online will receive a hard-card credential, a lanyard, an event pin and a dash plaque.  Cost for early registration is $15.00 (per person) for lifetime members of the NCM, $20.00 (per person) for members and $30.00 (per person) for non-members.

Anyone who misses the online pre-registration will have the opportunity to register onsite at a slightly higher rate of $20/$25/$35 respectively. No refunds or cancellations will be accepted once advance registration closes.

Then, shoot for fun, or for points with a trophy awarded to the winner. Lunch, ammunition, and firearms will be provided with Range Officers at each station to ensure a fun and safe event.

Join the Whisky Chicks as they take you on a leisurely stroll on the path to bourbon enlightenment beginning with a little history, background about the different types of whisky and then move into ways one can enjoy and share your new-found passion and knowledge with friends.  Includes sample cocktails and tastings.
