Since its introduction in 2014, the Corvette Stingray has proven time and again to be one of the most powerful, most performance-driven, most track-capable Corvettes of all time. The 2014 Corvette received more than twenty automotive industry awards in its inaugural year and earned another spot in 2015 on the coveted “10 Best” from Car and Driver magazine.

As Chevrolet prepared for the arrival of the 2016 Corvette Stingray, there was little doubt that the car’s third-year offerings would only continue to enhance a car that, by all accounts, was already at the pinnacle of what a Corvette could – and should – become.

The 2016 Corvette Stingray was the first in the seventh-generation lineup not to include a special edition. Wherein the 2014 Corvette included 500 units of the Premiere Edition Corvette Stingray, and the 2015 included both the Atlantic and Pacific Design Packages, the 2016 Corvette coupe and convertible would not include any specific special edition packages.

Instead, Chevrolet introduced three all-new, color-themed design packages for the 2016 model year. Finished in either Twilight Blue, Spice Red or Jet Black Suede, the special color-themed design packages offered consumers a custom-tailored appearance package that helped to elevate the Stingray’s presence both on the street and on the track. Additionally, each of the customized appearance packages reflected the different roles the Corvette represented in different customer experiences – from high-performance driving to grand touring cruising.

2016 Corvette Special Editions

In 2016, Chevrolet gave us the Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition – a road-going, track-capable homage to the Corvette Racing C7.R racecars. Offered in Corvette Racing’s signature yellow livery – or black – with coordinated exterior and interior accents.

2014 – 2019 Callaway C7 AeroWagen

In the tradition of coach built shooting brakes, Callaway offers the AeroWagen for any version of the C7 Corvette Coupe. Its components can be fitted to the standard production C7, the Callaway SC627 Stingray or Grand Sport, or the Callaway SC757 Z06. The AeroWagen hatch assembly is a part-for-part replacement of the original equipment Corvette rear hatch, using the original hardware and latching mechanisms. It operates in an identical fashion.

2014 – 2019 Corvette Stingray C7.R

The C7.R Corvette by Pratt & Miller is one of the winningest race cars in modern history. At the core of the C7.R Corvette is a direct carry-over from its predecessor - the same 5.5 liter engine that was developed during the C6.R's successful tenure in both the American Le Mans series and at The 24 Hours of Le Mans.

2016 Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition

The 2016 Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition is a road-going, track-capable homage to the Corvette Racing C7.R racecars. It’s offered in Corvette Racing’s signature yellow livery – or black – with coordinated exterior and interior accents. Only 500 examples of the C7.R Edition were built and all included the Z07 Performance Package with carbon ceramic brakes, as well as a specially serialized vehicle identification number. Corvette special editions don't get more fun than this.

2015 – 2019 Corvette Z06 Guide

The C7 Z06 enters supercar territory with race-proven design, advanced technologies and world-class performance. With track-focused Z07 performance package, 2015 Corvette Z06 delivers faster lap times than 2013 Corvette ZR1. It is the first Corvette Z06 to offer supercharged engine, paddle-shift automatic transmission and removable roof panel for coupes, and convertible model. New LT4 supercharged 6.2L V-8 SAE-certified at 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque.
