Over the past couple of years, Corvsport.com has shared several significant announcements from the National Corvette Museum and the NCM Motorsports Park, both located in Bowling Green Kentucky. We’ve also teased that some big announcements were coming in 2024 – and today, we’re pleased to share one of the biggest of them all! The NCM Motorsports Park (MSP) has announced the addition of two Corvette E-Rays to their available fleet of DRIVEABLE vehicles, making the MSP the first track in the nation to offer E-Ray driving activities to its patrons.
“At NCM Motorsports Park, we are dedicated to providing fun, safe, and cutting-edge experiences for our guests,” said Greg Waldron, Executive Director. “The addition of the E-Ray allows us to put guests behind the wheel of the newest Corvette available, which also happens to be the fastest Corvette ever made.”
Visitors to the track will have the opportunity to participate in one of two available driving activities: The E-Ray Touring laps and the Lightning Round experience.
The E-Ray Touring Lap option allows guests to the track to drive four (4) laps in a spirited lead/follow format around the 3.2-mile road course. While the pace of the tour laps is managed by the pace car leading the lap, E-Ray Tour Laps provide drivers of all levels with an opportunity to experience the car in a performance driving setting, and most drivers will still find themselves pushing their driving skills in an exciting-but-controlled experience they’ll not soon forget!
Drivers looking to take their experience to the next level will enjoy the Lightning Round option. With the Lightning Round experience, participants will still enjoy the four (4) tour laps referenced above, and then they’ll transition to the passenger seat where they’ll experience the full potential of the E-Ray as a professional driver launches the car from 0-to-60 miles per hours in less than three seconds and immediately drive a Hot Lap at adrenaline-inducing speeds. I can tell you this – having done the new C8 Z06 Tour Laps/Fast Pack Experience at the track last summer (which included the 0-60 launch and Hot Lap) – you’ll be blown away by the entirety of this exhilarating experience.
To celebrate the arrival of the E-Rays at the Motorsports Park, the MSP Team took the two new cars (finished in Sea Wolf Gray and Rip Tide Blue) on a regional road trip across much of the northeast over the past couple of weeks. The trip included stops in Detroit, Ann Arbor, Chicago, South Bend, Louisville, Nashville, Knoxville, and Pigeon Forge. The car made one of its final stops last weekend at the “Chevys in the Smokies” / Corvette Expo event in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee where they took an opportunity to drive the new E-Rays on the challenging and iconic Tail of the Dragon.
“We want to create a lot of excitement around this amazing car,” says NCM Motorsports Park Marketing Manager, Morgan Watson. “We were the first track in the nation to bring guests the Z06 Driving Experience, and we are excited to once again deliver on excellence with the new E-Ray options. This car represents the perfect combination of performance and speed, something car enthusiasts and adrenaline seekers alike can look forward to experiencing.
Visitors to NCM Motorsports Park can now enjoy the thrill of driving the new E-Ray firsthand as it joins the park’s extensive lineup of high-performance vehicles. Whether you’re a seasoned racing veteran or a first-time visitor, the E-Ray promises an electrifying adventure that will leave a lasting impression.

Also, for anyone who wants to learn more about the E-Ray experiences available at the MSP, I will be participating in the E-Ray Tour Laps/Lightning Round at the MSP in April. I can’t wait to share my own experience with this amazing car!
