As 2024 winds down, it’s time to go bargain hunting again, this time with the revolutionary eighth-generation Corvette! If you missed any of our previous episodes, I’ve included the full archives below. We’ve covered all the “modern” Corvettes, including the C5 and C6 Z06s, and you may be surprised at how cheap some of these Corvettes are. As always, it was an interesting exercise trying to find a large enough sample of C8 Corvettes at the lowest price point. For today’s installment, I started the nationwide Autotrader search at $60,000 (or less) with any title status, which yielded 76 examples. Once I filtered out branded titles (like salvage/rebuilt), that number only went down marginally to 70, so now it was time to see how low I could get the price while still having a decent sample size.
After a few adjustments, the perfect price point for today’s feature was $57,000 or less. Does that sound cheap to you? After all, the base MRSP in 2020 for a 1LT Coupe was $59,995–a price that has now escalated to $69,995 for similarly equipped 2025 Corvettes. Let’s dive in!
