Here’s a Look at the Dash Before You’re Supposed to See it

The automotive publication Carscoops released a few photos of the interior of the C8 Corvette ahead of the car’s official launch. The publication is getting a lot of use out of what was likely one quick photoshoot. It has let images slip out a few times over the course of the last several months. Now, with just less than a week to go, it has let slip the last batch of shots.

This batch gives you arguably the best views of the dash as a whole. As you can see in the images, the interior is more high-class than ever before. The materials look absolutely top-notch, which is no big surprise considering the C8 Corvette will be a more expensive model than previous generations.

You can see there is a digital instrument cluster in front of the new two-spoke steering wheel. Speaking of the steering wheel, there is a button labeled Z. We would assume it is somehow related to Zora, which would refer to the Zora Arkus-Duntov, the Father of the Corvette. It could be a Sport Mode button. We do not see a Sport Mode button listed on the button shifter to the right of the steering wheel.

The interior also features a large touchscreen in the center of the dash that’s angled towards the driver and a unique rotary-style controller for the infotainment system. There’s also a line of buttons down the ridge of the center armrest and console for various vehicle functions like climate controls.

Overall, it’s a beautiful looking interior. It’s wonderful to see these additional photos. We’re really interested in the official reveal of the model and not the various leaks and spy shots. We’ve seen plenty of those. There will likely be a few more before July 18, when the C8 debuts. We’ll keep you posted.
