The Z06 demonstrated its agility by navigating the tight corners of the Ring at speeds of 69 MPH, while reaching impressive speeds of 130 MPH on the straights. It’s worth noting that these exceptional times and speeds were achieved despite heavy traffic on the track.
During the record-setting run, there were up to 15 cars present, further highlighting the C6 Z06’s ability to outperform its competitors in challenging conditions. This accomplishment not only raises the bar for American manufacturers but also establishes the Corvette as a formidable contender among sports car manufacturers worldwide.
