Breaking Chevy Tease: Will The 2025 ZR1 Really Be Revealed At The NCM Bash?

Two new photos just emerged from Bowling Green; could they be the new C8 ZR1 waiting in the wings for a big bash reveal?

Today, we have an action-packed edition of our ZR1 News Recap. CorvSport has been on top of covering all the breaking and relevant ZR1 news (check out our full archive below). Just days ago, fresh spy photos emerged across the internet, courtesy of Rick Conti, and once again, fervor and excitement were ignited within enthusiasts.

Then, just last evening, these photos below surfaced on a popular Corvette Facebook page, having us here at CorvSport wondering if a special reveal is awaiting enthusiasts who made the pilgrimage to the National Corvette Museum’s 27th annual Bash in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The full itinerary for the 2024 Michelin NCM Bash is listed here, and we haven’t seen anything on the agenda that indicates a big bash reveal for the ZR1. So it’s safe to assume this is yet another tease from Chevrolet!

Could this be the 2025 ZR1 waiting in the wings of the National Corvette Museum? Look at that wing!

Now, let’s compare these newest photos to the mule photos from Rick Conti, which were reportedly testing in Ohio ahead of the NCM bash. These photos appear to reveal a rear wing high enough to match the one from the masked vehicle in front of the museum.

Chevrolet has apparently been in the mood recently to taunt us enthusiasts. Just two short weeks ago, they released a 21-second teaser video titled “The Corvette ZR1 Is Coming This Summer.” While this short but tantalizing video (posted below) put to rest the 2025 versus 2026 model year debate, it did nothing but fuel more engine rumors when the ZR1 roared across the screen. Therefore, what CorvSport has dubbed “The Great ZR1 Engine Debate” still lives on. Here’s a quick recap of the evolution of the engine rumors:
