Bargain Hunter: Here’s Your Chance At The Coveted 1978 Pace Car For A Deal

Is this 1978 Pace Car for $14,499 really a deal? We check out this example and compare it to recent Bring a Trailer and Facebook sales

This 1978 Pace Car can be yours for $14,499!

Despite the third-generation Corvette being long in the tooth by the late 70s, the 1978 Pace Car still stands as one of the more desirable and collectible Corvettes. When this nice-looking 80,000-mile example popped up on the popular Corvette Buy, Sell, Trade Facebook page the other day for $14,499, I thought, hey, this sounds like a bargain. For context, Volo Auto Museum has an all-original 16-mile example for sale at $61,998 (full CorvSport feature here). It’s worth noting that Volo’s low-mileage survivor is still for sale after months on the market.
