Autotopia LA Rides In American Legends’ Craziest Corvette Yet

In their recent video, Shawn Davis from Autotopia LA teams up with Tony from American Legends to showcase a stunning 1964 Corvette transformed into a retro-modern beast.

Originally a ’64, it now rocks a split-window conversion (a nod to the ’63 Sting Ray) with widened fenders, sharpened body lines, and a custom gray pearl paint job. Under the hood lies a Texas Speed-built LS7 (645 HP) paired with a TR6060 transmission, delivering raw, naturally aspirated power.

The chassis is a Roadster Shop Fast Track IRS, narrowed to fit deep-dish Avantgard wheels (19×12.5 rear) wrapped in massive 345-section tires. Custom side pipes with a crossover balance give it a unique Ford-like growl, while Wilwood brakes and manual steering keep the driving experience pure. Inside, the cabin blends vintage charm with modern touches—Alcantara-wrapped dash, 3D-printed controls, and C6 Corvette electric door releases.
