Get Ready for Some Fun
Have anything going this Saturday? On May 4th, there will be an Auto-X by NCM event held at the NCM Motorsports Park. The opportunity will give you a chance to enjoy the Corvette on the autocross track at the Motorsports Park. According to Corvette Online, the event is designed to help enthusiasts get some time carving up an autocross course in a very safe environment.
The event will have a course outlined in cones, and it’s not really a competition. It’s just for people who want seat time and the ability to push their car to the limit. You don’t have to have a Corvette to participate, but you can expect plenty in attendance due to the proximity to the museum and the Bowling Green production facility.
There are some restrictions on vehicles, though. The car has to be in good working order and safe. It also has to be a track-appropriate vehicle. This means no trucks or vans. Participants must wear a helmet and close-toed shoes in order to be allowed to take part. You also must be 18 years old or have a parent or guardian sign off on your behalf.
