Since he was a boy, Scott has had a love affair with cars - and sports cars in particular. His fascination with speed and fast cars was first fueled by his grandfather, who would frequently take him to car shows or to the local track. 1992 ZR-12 Corvette Falconer

The Corvette team decided to one-up the Viper with four extra cylinders, they decided on one of Ryan Falconer’s stunning, all aluminum, 600-cubic-inch, 683hp, 680 lb-ft V-12 racing engines. The biggest challenge was the fact that the all-aluminum V-12 engine was 8.8-inches longer than the production Corvette engine. So the front end of the ZR-1 would have to be stretched 8 inches. This test car was named Conan, after his raw, beastlike charisma.

George Barris’ 1963 Corvette “Asteroid”

The "Asteroid" started life as a 1963 Chevy Corvette.  It was ordered by mechanical engineer and renowned mid-century speed boat racer Bob Nordskog, sans any exterior paint save for a primer coat.  Instead, the car was shipped directed to Barris Kustoms with instructions for Barris to transform the brand-new Corvette into a more radical version of itself.
Just 1,255 Corvettes were finished in Sebring Orange for the 2021 MY - making it a rarer color for future, would-be collectors.

2021 Corvette Production Volumes

Production of the 2021 Mid-Engine Corvette Stingray was cut short by General Motors. Production of the 2021 MY (model years) was paused in May and June, 2021, due in large part to an ongoing shortage of semiconductor chips. The Coupe proved the more popular bodystyle.
